Hello Writers!

I hope you have been getting your words on the page. If not, this April is Camp NaNoWriMo. So no worries! You will make progress in your writing journeys. To jump start the writing experience, the first Saturday of April (the 7th) is an all day writeathon!!!

I know writing all day can seem like a daunting task, but the goal is for you to schedule time to write. Life can (and does) get in the way of your writing. Things happen. It is understandable. But this writeathon is about you placing your writing first for one full day. (Plus, you will have a support system in place.) Getting your words on the page is the first step in your creative process. Jodi Picoult’s “you can always edit a bad page, you can’t edit a blank page,” demonstrates that you need to get your words on the page first. Fill those blank pages!

Please mark your calendars for this April 7th. Be sure to tweet along using the hashtag #wordsonthepageathon. I’d love to know how your writing is going.

Thank you so much for reading today’s post + Make today a great writing day!

Best,

Angela

P.S. If you are still looking for a camp NaNoWriMo writing cabin, let me know down in the comment section and I’ll send you an invite!
